Hello,
My name is Chloe. I'm a creative with way too many ideas in my head clawing at each other to find a way to get out into existence. I have little formal training, but follow my intuition and figure things out as I go—being too technical slows my creative process. I guess you could say I began with "photography" as a child (blurry images of random objects, often a silly vlog with meaningless blabber included in the camera roll), playing with my parents' phone or camcorders. When I received my first camera, a Nikon D3300, for Christmas in 2015 I had no idea what any of the buttons meant but I couldn't stop taking photos. Thankfully we live in the age of the internet. Every direction I looked, there was a photo to be taken—as if the world was made of compositions. Walking from point A to point B took me 30 minutes longer than usual, it was magical. Since then I've picked up a few more skills here and there, but I always come back to a digital medium to piece it all together. I want this space to be a portfolio of sorts, but also a gallery so my work can exist in a composed space rather than floating in the ether of my 2 TB of cloud storage. Thank you for stopping by.
