Ocean Beach
January 10th, 2022. It's a rare day of sunshine and warm air at Ocean Beach. Ironically San Fransisco is warmer in the winter than it is in the summer. I suppose that's the product of a microclimate, a little blip in the system where oddities endure and a different world forms within our reality. This afternoon was full of pastel mists and setting sunshine radiating ocean spray. My brother Luc has been infatuated with surfing ever since lockdown. But even the ocean air wasn't safe from virus particles during that time. Incredible, how malicious these pastel marine particles can become from breathing. Our act of living is an act of killing; Nature and Humans, both capable of abject cruelty.
